New food and drink producers join Food Academy 2025

SuperValu, in partnership with the Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs), has announced the latest intake of food and drink producers to join the 2025 Food Academy Programme.

The initiative, now in its 12th year, will give emerging businesses the opportunity to secure year-round shelf space in SuperValu stores nationwide.

Since its launch in 2013, Food Academy has supported more than 1,000 Irish producers, generating over €260m in sales.

Household names such as The Happy Pear, Pizza Sorrento and SynerChi Kombucha began their retail journeys through the programme.

Looking ahead, Food Academy products are expected to generate €30m in retail sales in 2025 alone.
